Toiletry Bottles that Don't Overfill
I’ve previously shared my best tips for keeping toiletries from leaking, but today I’m sharing the exact bottles that are the best travel toiletry bottles I’ve found. They are cheap, lightweight, TSA-friendly, easy to use, and don’t spill. What sets them apart from the rest, though, is that they’re virtually impossible to over-pour. One of the biggest issues I have with travel bottles is that they make a mess when you go to use them. I only need a little face wash and I fill the travel bottle accordingly, so it’s frustrating (and stressful) when half of the bottle pours out the first time I go to shower, leaving me to worry about rationing for the rest of the trip.
These are the best of the best out of over twenty different brands that I’ve tried, and I hope they make your travel experience stress-free and simple!

These travel bottles are a dream. You get a set of 4 for less than $10, and they’re all color-coded, so it’s easy to remember what’s in what bottle. Labels or sharpies can fade over time, so you want to make sure the bottles themselves are distinguishable. These bottles haven’t discolored or faded in the years that I’ve had them, and I love that there are so many options - you can get one set for each member of your family and can easily identify who has the “blue set” from the “pink set.” If you’re not a big fan of bright colors, they also have a neutral set, so you can match your own personal aesthetic.
As far as design goes, they’re silicone and easy to hold, even if you have wrist issues or carpal tunnel. The silicone is thin yet completely leak-proof, so you don’t have to worry about them adding bulk or extra weight to your luggage. They come in their own travel case that’s TSA approved - I’ve traveled with the bottles in the case exactly as is in my carry-on and never had an issue.
The oval shape is not only sleek, it prevents you from wasting any product that can sometimes get trapped in the corners, and it also makes them easier to rinse out when you’re done.
What sets these bottles above the rest is that they have a tiny valve that prevents them from over-pouring. You can literally control how much product comes out better than you can when your products are in their original packaging; it’s crazy. My shampoo is a thinner consistency, and it’s never leaked or spilled when using these bottles.
I get mine from Amazon, and have never had an issue with them arriving late in case you’re packing last-minute. As overdramatic as it sounds, these bottles have made packing so much easier and less stressful, and I hope that they help you, too.
